| Activated Carbon Fiber |
- Activated carbon fiber is activated charcoal made through plasticizing and reproducing natural fiber, artificial organic matters or chemical fiber with new type adsorbent on fiber.
- The surface area is as large as 1,100~1,600 ㎡/g, the 10~14Å hole diameters are even and made with small holes. The speed of adsorption is very fast and about 10~100 times that of activated charcoal.
- This product has the adsorption ability as high as 10 times that of powder- or granule-type activated charcoal which is commonly used for separation or purification in many areas. In addition, the weight of adsorbent enables light weight and compact size.
- Due to double treatment of the surface in ACF reproduction, there is no wearing rate from carbon secretion acid. As this can be easily reproduced by steam or warm wind at the temperature of 100~200℃ and the life is lengthened by 3-5 years in case of reusing filters, the maintenance cost of this product is cheaper than regular activated charcoal, increasing demands.
- ACF is mainly used for recovering solvents, purifying waste water and air, adsorbing and desorbing toxic gas or liquid, radioactive substances and microbes, removing fishy smell, recovering heavy metal, producing anti-gas masks and clothes, treating clean water for industry, getting rid of bad smell of medical supplies and garbage and dioxin ingredients. |
